Matthew Colbert Blocha is a Native American Muscogee (Creek) film composer, producer, and engineer based in Los Angeles, best known for his collaborations with composer John Murphy and director James Gunn. His work is featured in major films like Superman (2025), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), and The Suicide Squad (2021), as well as hit TV shows such as Castlevania and Vikings. Born in South Florida, Blocha began his career working at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Studios before establishing his own home studio in Hollywood.
